Vlog Like Casey Neistat: The Concept!
If you're here, I don't need to tell you who Casey Neistat is, right? ;)
Today, I'm starting a "Vlog Like Casey Neistat" two part series. First one is going to be on Concept and Strategy, and the 2nd one is gonna be on Filming and doing the actual thing! (Vlogging)
If you're not into vlogging, or you are camera-shy, consider these YouTube channel ideas that I've put together for all of you and i am constantly updating these ideas with new ones...
And one more thing before we jump into details. Doesn't matter if you're a Casey Neistat fan, MO Vlogs fan, or any other vlogger is your favorite one and not Casey, I'm just discussing Concepts here and basic understanding of "How to Vlog".
With that said, let's dive right in...
How to Vlog Like Casey? The Concept!
Well, the concept is unbelievably simple here.
1- Shoot Daily Routine!
2- Highlight if Something Special Happens!
Yep, that's all there is to Vlogging like Casey!
Wanna confirm, whether THIS is what he does in his vlogs? Well, keep these points in mind next time while you watch his vlog. You'll see, he starts with his normal life and routine, and then if something special happens, like in this episode, he titled it "he needs a little help".
See?
He was doing his normal routine vlog, and then he (Marlan Franklyn) appeared, and Casey maybe then stopped recording and in the next scene, they were sitting on a pair of chairs and requesting for help! :)
And if you wanna see another example!
Here...
In this episode, he ALREADY had a topic or story! This is when you have something special for the audience, and you wanna show it to them in your next video. And then you make the entire episode about that thing. (And then, it is always an off-topic vlog, and not a normal and regular one.) This is why in this vlog of his, he talked about his $21,000 FIRST CLASS AIRPLANE SEAT experience!

Hopefully, you've got the basic understanding of How to Vlog Like Casey Neistat.
If you have any questions, please drop them below, I'll make sure to answer them as soon as i possibly can. And if not, make sure you also visit our 2nd part of this series. This is where I discuss about Filming part.
Until then, please give this guide a share if you have learned anything! :)
